International workshop on Emerging policy challenges on New SOil contaminants (ENSOr) - March 14th and 15th 2024.

For the fifth edition of the ENSOr workshop, we set our sights on challenges for diffuse contaminations with emerging contaminants.

What is the impact of these diffuse contaminations on reuse of excavated soil and on ground water supplies? On food safety? And above all: how do we assess the risks? And what policy is needed to tackle these challenges?

During two full day sessions, we will present and discuss experiences from all over Europe.

From 1 January to 30 June 2024, Belgium will hold the presidency of the council of the European Union, the occasion to turn this 5th anniversary edition into a celebratory live session.
